About

Hi, I'm a third-year PhD student in Finance at the School of Management, Fudan University, supervised by Professor Junye Li . My research focuses on demand system asset pricing, combining structural and reduced-form analysis. I work with both Chinese and U.S. stock market data.

Personal: A close approximation of my name's pronunciation is Zhaoxin (Jow-sheen) Shi (Shr).

In Chinese, Zhao (兆) suggests a vast number and phonetically echoes my mother's surname. Xin (馨) means fragrance and, by extension, is often associated with virtue. It comes from a well-known line in 《陋室铭》: “斯是陋室,惟吾德馨.” Taken together, my name reflects my parents' hope that I would grow into a person of good character.
